Campaign closes, Recording starts!

That’s a wrap on pre-orders! Thank you everyone who contributed, especially our sponsor-level backers: The Franco-American Center at UMaine, L’Alliance Française du Maine, Jeff Holland, Jamie McCue, Margaret McCue, Leo Muise, Saco River Theatre, and Brickhouse Music.

There is still an opportunity to pre-order, contribute, and book appearances. Due to a technicality we can’t keep the indiegogo site active while we finish production of the CD and songbook, but if you knwo anyone who may be interested just shoot a note to robert@robertsylvain.com and we’ll hook you up.

We have recording dates set with Jason Phelps at Acadia Recording Studios in Portland, Maine beginning January 27th, with David Surette on cittern and guitar, Steve Muise on fiddle, Junior Stevens on accordeon, Nicole Rabata on flute, Neil Pearlman on piano, Steve Roy on upright bass, and Per Hanson on drums plus many other guest stars. It’s a first-class lineup that is sure to produce a spectacular result. Very exciting!

We expect to deliver in April of this year if things go as planned, and we’ll keep you updated as the process moves ahead.  As early adopters you’ll get previews from the studio, access to rough mixes and drafts, and even a bonus track that I’ll release on January 26th.  Stay tuned!

Merci beaucoup,

Robert
